Bacon-cheese pull aparts

My husband and I were invited to my niece Maria and her new husband Sheldon's home for Christmas brunch. Don't you just love newlyweds? I decided to bring a Bacon-Cheese pull apart recipe from the Pillsbury web page (note: I do not monetize, so there is no intended advertisements here). I knew right off the bat that I would have to tweak the recipe to fit my taste. Here is what I did, and if I do say so myself...Delicious!!!! My tweaked recipe is at the end of this blog. If you want the Pillsbury version it's on their website Pillsbury.com then search Bacon cheese pull apart.

I used 2 cans of Grands biscuits and cut each one into fourths
Mixed 2 eggs, 4 Tbsp milk, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 Tbsp granulated garlic, 1 tsp cayenne pepper
Tossed in the biscuits
Added chopped green onions, sliced (precooked) bacon, & cheddar cheese
Then toss it all up
pour into greased (I used Bakers Joy) foil pan because I never seem to get my glassware back! It doesn't have to be single layered. Just distribute the mixture evenly.
Baked to perfection!
It was scrumptious! Serve with eggs or even as your bread for dinner.
I'm thinking soup & salad!
Now I'm hungry!

Recipe

2 eggs ( slightly beaten)
4 tablespoons milk
2 (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands biscuits
1 (2.1 oz) precooked bacon
6 oz  shredded cheddar cheese (I used two big handfuls)
4 medium chopped green onions
1 tablespoonful granulated garlic
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt

Mix, pour into a buttered or greased (Bakers Joy) 9X13 pan (I used slightly larger foil pan)
Bake uncovered in preheated 350 F degree oven for aprox 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares or pull apart.
